The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) is single point reference for the foundry and foundry support services industries in India with over 3000 members. The IIF is affiliated to the World Foundrymen Organisation (WFO) and the Confederation of Indian Industry, India.
The IIF organises an annual conference and international foundry exhibition which attracts a large number of participants from all over the world and is a major event for the high growth foundry industry in India. |

The Institute of Indian Foundrymen, Eastern Region invites you to participate in the 57th Indian Foundry Congress and Foundry Exhibition, IFEX, 2009 to be held on February 13,14, and 15, 2009 in this most happening city, Kolkata, the gateway to the East.
The venue for the 57th IFC and IFEX 2009 will be the Science City Convention Center & Exhibition Grounds, Kolkata. |

The Convention Centre complex comprises the Grand Theatre (2232 seating capacity), one Mini Auditorium (392 seating capacity) and a Seminar hall building with 11 halls ranging from 15 to 100 seating capacity, indoor (270 sq.m.) and open air exhibition ground (20000 sq. m). The auditoria's and the seminar halls are fully air-conditioned.
The Convention Centre of Science City is the most sought after destination for conventions, exhibitions and Cultural programs.
Other attractions will include evening entertainment programs by internationally acclaimed artists from Bengal, excellent cuisine, guided city sightseeing & shopping trips, and organised tours to tourist spots in the eastern region of India including the famed wild life and tiger reserve sanctuary of the Sunderbans. |
